One of only two natural, open air, un-refrigerated ice rinks in Oregon! Completely built and operated by passionate-about-ice community members each year for the enjoyment of the public. Come to the Enterprise City Park with the whole family and bring your skates! Skating is free. There are limited ice skate rentals available and season rentals, details TBA. The ice rink is open as weather permits and as long as the season permits. Check out the new scooters we purchased for the kids, join the ice hockey team, or learn how to curl!
Oregon's only Iditarod and Yukon qualifier is in Wallowa County! Vet checks will be held downtown Enterprise and Joseph, there will be activities with the schools too. A musher's potluck, and of course the big race and awards banquet are all part of this incredibly unique 3 day event. Come meet the mushers and their dogs!
There are only 100 tickets available each year for this event that always sells out. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the streets of downtown Enterprise and celebrate Mother's Day weekend in chocolate style. Your ticket is the ticket to unending chocolate. Every Thursday evening at 5:30 throughout the summer, this music lineup is free and open to all ages. Bring a picnic and a blanket, and the entire family. Shop for local goods and produce at the Farmer's Market that is going on at the same time, even enjoy a beer or glass of wine. See you on the lawn of the Wallowa County Courthouse!
Come downtown to celebrate the history of Enterprise at Summerfest, formally known as the Bowlby Bash, an old-fashioned street fair, with lots to see and do. Main Street is closed to autos and the street is filled with activity. Enjoy good food and beverages from local restaurants, hear live music, and peruse the offerings from the vendors in the street and from the local merchants. Witness the thrilling and ever-popular soapbox derby. Stangles beat out the Carrot last year, come see who claims the beautiful hand-carved trophy made by Steve Arment this year! This festival is like an old time carnival for kids with a bouncy house, face painting, crafts and activities, a sprinkler splash pad and wonderful treats. Come on down and be part of the fun!

Listen. Celebrate. Learn. Always the last Friday in June, this family-friendly event is outdoors at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds. Live music and over 25 booths lend a festive setting for learning all about the people, land, rocks, animals, and water in this place we call home.
Whether you have a sweet old ride to enter in the show, or you have a love for a sweet old ride, this car show is a great way to spend your time. In third year, the Main Street Show n' Shine is even bigger than last year and full of great events. Come on down and walk the streets of Historic Enterprise and drool over the beautifully restored vehicles and meet the craftspeople that pour their hearts and souls into keeping these old vehicles around. This fine event is hosted by Main Street Motors and sponsored by the Elks Lodge.
The sweetest little music festival in eastern Oregon! Come dance, dine, drink, and dance some more at the Wallowa County Fairgrounds. This all day event is during Labor Day weekend. Featuring 2 stages, and a full day of original music performed out in the fresh mountain air of Wallowa County. Come play with us!
Since 1981, both mule skinners and spectators alike are sure to have fun at this family friendly 3 day event. Mule events, a dutch oven cook off, western artists and exhibitors, cowboy poetry, and a pit BBQ are just a sampling of the festivities. Bring the kiddos for the awesome non-motorized mule days parade down Main Street and then to the fairgrounds to see the old world oxen living history. They will delight in witnessing how life out west used to be.
The only Swiss-Bavarian festival in the West starts in Enterprise! There's a procession down Main Street to the opening ceremony at the Wallowa County Courhouse gazebo. Afterward, Terminal Gravity Brewery hosts Accordions at Alpenfest, with visiting accordion players demonstrating the versatility of this amazing instrument. This is also where we tap the first keg of Alpenfest Ale, brewed by TG just for our festival. The next day, activities move to Joseph and Wallowa Lake. Come and get your polka on!
Bring your little ghosts and goblins for the annual Trunk or Treat on Main Street in Enterprise. Main Street will be blocked off and pedestrian friendly. Cars will be decorated and filled with treats for the whole family. Feel free to bring your own vehicle and be part of the giving. This year we will have a special surprise on Main Street. We will also have a burn barrel, spooky music in the streets and hot cider for all.

At the beautifully restored Burnaugh Building at 107 N River St. Jewelry, pottery, books, metal art, hand sewn items, up cycled clothing, kettle corn, artisan soaps, teas, ornaments and gifts for the season. As good as small town gets, this 2 day winter festival is in downtown Enterprise. Shop for that perfect gift at one of our fabulous shops or check out the special 2 day Wonderland Pop Up artisan market. Santa will be there for photos, carolers are out and about in the streets, roast chestnuts on one of the many burn barrels on the streets to keep you cozy and warm, sing Christmas karaoke, feast on the fireman's chili feed, ice skate with family in the city park, let the kids run wild on the North Pole Barrel Train Ride, and to end it all - witness a beautiful lighted winter parade. We love winter in Enterprise.
